Where: Lloyd Ultan Recital Hall (U of M West Bank Campus)
Join us for the 15th Annual Balkanicus Concert! Featuring world-premiere music from Croatia, Bulgaria, and Albania! Emotional and upbeat, artsy and avant-garde, experimental and irregular, and at the end you can meet performers, guest composers, and fellow music-lovers over a tasty Balkan reception!
This concert is dedicated to the Centennial of the Croatian Hall in South St Paul. Be sure to ask our special guest, Croatian composer Ivan Božičević, about his featured chamber pieces – one of which he wrote especially for the Balkanicus concert and ensemble.
The Balkanicus Concert will be on Saturday, April 13th at 7:30 PM at Ultan Recital Hall. All are welcome, especially if you have never experienced this music before! Don’t miss this opportunity to delight in Balkan rhythms through contemporary music.
